Our Mission
OpenDoor is a Christ-centered initiative that connects faith communities, local church members, and new Diaspora neighbors. We promote Christ-centered transformation through the ministry of reconciliation and welcome -We believe that welcoming the stranger is not just an act of charity, compassion and hospitality but an opportunity for mutual growth and discipleship.
The Guiding Star of Welcome Events | Are Christ-centered celebration of faith, hope, and resilience, inspired by the journey of asylum seekers. Through immersive art, storytelling, and community reflection, these events invites participants to explore Christ’s call to welcome the stranger (Matthew 25:35-40).
The Art of Reconciliation Clubs | lovingly known as The ARC! This is a network of small groups that provide unique space within different church community where creativity and faith come together to bring healing, unity, and spiritual transformation through Christ.
Assistance with Asylum Applications | OpenDoor in collaboration with other partners has organized Asylum application Assistance event around Seatac. The date and the venue shall be communicated directly to the individual applicant for the security of the applicants
