Mathenge: Sharing his 7 years long Journey of Faith, Hope & Resilience across 3 continents as an Asylum Seeker
Mathenge, also known as Captain James is a gifted artist and storyteller, has journeyed across three continents as an asylum seeker, finding hope and resilience through Christ. His powerful art and ministry invite others to reflect on God’s heart for the vulnerable and marginalized.
Through his artwork series, How Great Thou Art Doxology, and events like The Guiding Star of Welcome, Mathenge connects the biblical mandate to welcome the stranger with the lived experiences of refugees and immigrants.
